The US has increased military pressure on Iran over its nuclear programme, as more naval forces move into the Middle East. But as the EU sanctions Iran’s Revolutionary Guard and the UN urges negotiations, Iran is preparing live-fire drills in the Strait of Hormuz, and warns it will respond to any attack.
