US President Donald Trump says American warships are heading towards Iran’s coast and has confirmed that Tehran is talking to Washington. His comments come hours after Iran indicated that negotiations were progressing. Earlier this week, Trump warned US vessels in the Gulf were ready to use violence if necessary if Tehran refused to address its nuclear programme. Kristina Simich reports.
