A dozen Palestinians were allowed into Gaza from Egypt on Monday after Israel partially reopened the Rafah border crossing. Thousands of Palestinians still outside the territory also hope to eventually return home. Earlier, five Palestinian patients were able to leave the strip for medical treatment in Egypt. The crossing had been shut for nearly two years. Abdalwahab Hamad reports.
