Its official now. Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi is set to remain in power, after a landslide victory in the snap general election. State media is reporting that her conservative coalition has secured a two-thirds majority in the lower house of parliament. It has won 310 of the 465 seats, according to exit poll projections. The result, will give the Takaichi’s Government power to pass legislation with limited push back. Kristina Simich reports.
