Japans conservative prime minister Sanae Takaichi will be able to run the country more freely after securing a landslide election victory. Results show her LDP party winning 316 seats, up from the previous 198, giving it a much higher proportion of the Lower House. Japans stock exchange has reached new highs and the yen recovered some ground, showing faith in Japans first female Prime minister. Zama Luthuli reports.
