The leader of Scotland’s Labour Party has called for the UK’s Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, to resign for appointing Peter Mandelson as his US ambassador. The PM sacked Mandelson as US ambassador after another batch of US government files showed his relationship with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein was far greater than previously known, including briefing Epstein about confidential discussions at the heart of the British government when he was business secretary.
