Hanno Pevkur, Estonia’s Defence Minister, spoke to TRT World on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference about the European Union’s evolving role within NATO. He underlined Türkiye’s strategic importance across NATO’s southern flank and the Baltics, highlighting the country’s robust defence industrial capabilities. Pevkur also stressed that Ukraine’s will must be prioritised in any future peace negotiations.
