The latest round of US-mediated talks have been described by Russia as ‘difficult’ while Ukraine says they were ‘substantive’ and that progress has been made. Day two of the meetings in Geneva is said to have lasted only two hours and comes just days before the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion. The issue of territory remains the main sticking point.
