The Supreme Court struck down President Donald Trump’s far-reaching global tariffs on Friday, delivering a stinging loss that prompted a fierce attack on the court he helped shape. The ruling was significant because it marked "a rare instance" of the Supreme Court acting as "a check on executive authority", FRANCE 24’s Douglas Herbert said.
