Cuba’s government says its soldiers killed four people aboard a speedboat registered in Florida that opened fire on officers in Cuban waters.
Cuba added that six others on the speedboat, who are also Cuban citizens, were injured and have been detained.
The Cuban commander of the border patrol boat was also wounded, according to Cuba’s interior ministry.
