A new school year is under way in Khartoum, the first full academic year since war shut down much of the Sudanese capital’s education system. Hundreds of schools were damaged or forced to close during the conflict. Now, as families return and campuses reopen, children are heading back to the classroom. Abdallah Hussain reports from Khartoum.
