The Israeli army claimed 50 fighter jets had “dismantled” an underground bunker that was meant to be used as an “emergency command centre” by slain Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The army said the Supreme Leader was killed before he could use the bunker but the compound was used by senior Iranian officials.
Khamenei was killed at his leadership compound on February 28, on the first day of joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran.
