The leader of the opposition Kemi Badenoch was speaking at the Conservative spring conference.
She highlighted Britain’s need for a "strong and decisive" leadership but said "we have a prime minister who is too afraid of making the wrong decision — too afraid to make any decision at all".
"For too long Britain has been governed as if it’s the 1990s," she said and called for more defence spending as "era of peace is coming to an end".
