Major travel hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar have long been known for their safety and ultra-modern aviation and tourism infrastructure. But the ongoing US Israeli war on Iran has disrupted flight paths, brought air travel nearly to a standstill, and sent jet fuel prices soaring in just two weeks. Travel experts warn that the Middle East’s aviation and tourism sector could be facing its toughest challenge since the pandemic — and all of this comes just weeks before the peak summer travel season.
