Türkiye marks 111th anniversary of Canakkale victory nationwide

Türkiye is holding ceremonies nationwide to mark Canakkale Victory and Martyrs’ Day, commemorating the 111th anniversary of the naval victory during World War I. The Battle of Canakkale, fought at a strategic point bridging Europe and Asia, became a major turning point as Ottoman forces repelled Allied attempts to reach Istanbul.
