Rafah border partially reopens for first time since US-Israeli war on Iran

For the first time since Israel and the US launched strikes on Iran, the Rafah border crossing reopened, allowing a limited number of Palestinian patients from Gaza to travel to Egypt and enabling stranded Palestinians to return to the enclave, on March 19.

The crossing had briefly reopened on February 2 for limited movement but was shut again on February 28 with the start of the war.
