The prime minister’s approach to the Iran war is not working, according to Sir James Cleverly.
Sir Keir Starmer has insisted that the UK will only be involved in defensive actions as the conflict unfolds.
But Cleverly, the shadow housing secretary, told Trevor Phillips: "Starmer’s ‘keep out of it’ strategy has not worked."
"We’ve alienated some of our closest allies in the world," Cleverly added.
