Ghana pushes for slave trade to be recognised as crime against humanity

The UN General Assembly is expected to vote on Ghana’s draft resolution pushing for the transatlantic slave trade to be recognised as the gravest crime against humanity. The move comes as the world marks the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade on Wednesday. Brenda Czeda Radido reports.
