The IMF has downgraded the UK’s growth forecast more than any other advanced economy as high energy prices linger and interest rates are eased at a slower pace than before the Iran war.
The IMF also downgraded their forecast for global economic growth as the conflict across the Middle East chokes oil and gas supplies, causing supply chain shocks and driving energy costs higher around the world.
