US President Donald Trump said Washington and Tehran would jointly remove enriched uranium from Iran’s nuclear sites using heavy machinery, with the material then transferred to the United States.
Speaking at a Turning Point USA event in Arizona on April 17, Trump described plans to use “the biggest excavators” to extract the material.
His remarks come despite Iran’s foreign ministry reiterating that its enriched uranium stockpile would not be transferred “anywhere.”
