A skydiver carrying a US flag crashed into an electronic scoreboard during a college football spring game at Virginia Tech’s Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia, on April 18. Emergency crews used an aerial ladder to reach the skydiver, who was safely brought to the ground without injury, according to a statement from Virginia Tech.
