UN says humanitarian situation in Lebanon ‘fragile and volatile’

Lebanon is facing a severe food crisis as rising import costs, ongoing conflict, and economic instability drive food prices up, leaving many consumers struggling to afford basic necessities. With about one in four people experiencing acute food insecurity, the situation is expected to worsen as regional pressures and continued instability further increase prices and vulnerability.
