A driver drove onto a sidewalk and chased a child riding a bike in Cheney, Washington, on April 28.
The 56-year-old woman was arrested shortly after, when she allegedly attempted to break into a nearby home.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the child was not hit or injured.
The woman faces charges including attempted assault, driving under the influence, and criminal trespassing.
Police said she admitted to drinking alcohol after initially denying it.
