A Pakistani source has confirmed to Reuters news agency that the US and Iran are close to agreeing a one-page memorandum to end the war.
This follows a report from US outlet Axios which says Washington and Tehran are closing in on a deal.
Pakistan has been mediating discussions between the US and Iran and hosted a round of direct talks between the two countries in Islamabad last month.
