Reform UK has secured majority control of multiple councils, including Sunderland, Gateshead and South Tyneside, in what Nigel Farage calls "historic" results.
The party claims to have taken Sandwell and Walsall from Labour, with Farage declaring several Conservative MPs including Kemi Badenoch, would lose their seats on these numbers.
