Russia’s Victory Day parade in Moscow was noticeably smaller this year, with fewer tanks and heavy weapons on display amid security concerns and the ongoing war in Ukraine.
President Vladimir Putin used the event to praise Russian troops fighting in Ukraine and stress patriotism and national unity, while tight security measures and internet disruptions reflected tensions across the capital. Dasha Chernyshova reports from Moscow.
