Erdogan heads to Kazakhstan for talks ahead of Turkic summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is travelling to Kazakhstan for a three-day diplomatic push focused on security, trade and coordination across the Turkic world. Erdogan will first meet Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana before attending the Organization of Turkic States summit in Turkistan a day later. The meetings come amid rising global instability, from the conflict in the Middle East to growing competition over trade routes and energy corridors across Eurasia. Asli Atbas reports.
