Palestinians marched through the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, or “catastrophe”, the mass displacement of Palestinians during the creation of Israel in 1948. Demonstrators carried Palestinian flags and called for recognition of Palestinian rights and history.
