French President Emmanuel Macron has acknowledged France’s declining influence in Africa over the past 25 years, saying it reflects increased global competition.
Speaking at the Africa Forward Summit in Kenya, he said countries like Türkiye, China, the US, and African actors themselves have become more competitive in securing projects and partnerships across the continent.
