Iran’s Foreign Minister says talks with US suffer from a “lack of trust”

"We cannot trust Americans at all … contradictory messages has made us reluctant about the real intentions of Americans in these negotiations"

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said US-Iran negotiations are "suffering from a lack of trust" on May 15, warning that contradictory American messages have cast doubt on Washington’s seriousness at the table.

Speaking at the BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting in New Delhi, Araqchi also said the Strait of Hormuz remains open to all vessels, except those belonging to countries at war with Iran.
