EU agrees historic US trade deal, but cautious over Trump tariffs

The EU has taken a significant step towards implementing an historic trade deal with the United States. The European Parliament and the European Council agreed on legislation in the early hours of Wednesday morning that all but ensures a US deadline of July 4th will now be met. The move is expected to reassure some over a trading relationship worth around two trillion US dollars every year. Yet others have expressed caution about the US tariff regime under Donald Trump.
