An angry crowd set fire to part of a hospital in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo after authorities stopped family members from taking the body of a suspected Ebola patient home for burial. Police fired warning shots as unrest erupted at Rwampara hospital near Bunia, the centre of the outbreak. Medical staff were later placed under military protection as officials worked to restore order and prevent the virus from spreading.
