Bystanders rushed to the rescue of a woman who was struggling after falling in floodwaters in China’s Guangxi on May 21. She was captured in a surveillance video struggling to stand as she walked through a flooded area.
Several parts of China have been hit by record-breaking rainfall in recent days. Monsoon rains triggered widespread urban flooding across central and southern China, killing 22 people, with nearly 24,000 people evacuated from affected areas.
