NATO allies prepare for high-stakes Ankara summit

Nato foreign ministers have met in Sweden to prepare for July’s Ankara summit, where defence spending, Ukraine and boosting military production will dominate discussions. Despite growing tensions over the US shifting focus to the Middle East and reducing troops in Europe, Nato chief Mark Rutte insists the alliance remains united and committed to collective defence.
