Although a planned leaders’ summit in India never took place last year, the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue grouping — US, India, Japan and Australia — appears to be regaining momentum. “Quad” foreign ministers met in Delhi and announced new cooperation on maritime security, critical minerals and energy, signaling renewed efforts to coordinate responses in the Indo-Pacific and counter China’s influence.
