Africa Matters: Ethiopia Election

Ethiopia votes on June 1 with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s Prosperity Party widely expected to win another term, despite violence in some regions that could lock out millions of voters. About 300 Ghanaians have returned home from South Africa after rising anti-immigrant tensions and xenophobic attacks. And Rwanda has closed its border with Democratic Republic of the Congo due to the Ebola outbreak, disrupting trade and leaving Bukavu residents struggling to get basic goods.
