Clashes in Paris after PSG win Champions League

Following Paris Saint Germain’s win over Arsenal in the Champions League final, large crowds poured into Paris’ streets to celebrate – and, in some cases, celebrations got out of hand. Paris police say they arrested over 40 people before the match had even ended. Revelers set fires, destroyed property, and shot fireworks at police. Riot police fired back with tear gas to disperse crowds. The disruptive celebrations were similar to events following PSG’s Champions League title win last year, which saw hundreds of arrests nationwide.
