Ethiopia votes as PM Abiy Ahmed expected to win

Ethiopians are voting in parliamentary elections widely expected to give Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed’s ruling party another term in power. More than 50 million people are registered to cast their ballots, but voting isn’t taking place in all parts of the country. Opposition groups and rights advocates say the election is being held amid growing pressure on political rivals and a shrinking democratic space. TRT World’s Joel Flynn reports.
