Israel carried out air strikes on the towns of Arnoun and Kfar Tebnit in Lebanon’s Nabatieh governorate on June 4.
The strikes came one day after Lebanon and Israel agreed to renew their fragile ceasefire and establish “pilot zones” under the exclusive control of the Lebanese army following US-mediated talks.
Lebanese media reported that Israeli strikes in eastern and southern Lebanon killed six people and injured eight others on June 4, even as a renewed ceasefire remained in effect.
