Türkiye has welcomed the result of Armenia’s parliamentary elections, with pro-EU Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan claiming victory and a second term in office. His Civil Contract Party won nearly 50 percent of the vote, highlighting the country’s shift away from its traditional ally Russia. The vote was also seen as a key test of public support for Pashinyan’s efforts to secure lasting peace with Azerbaijan. Kristina Simich reports.
