Gazan doctor and director of Kamal Adwan Hospital, Hussam Abu Safiya, has been seen alive for the first time in 16 months. The doctor was abducted in December 2024 by Israel after it laid siege to the hospital. The doctor appeared via video link before Israel’s Supreme Court. His lawyers say he remains in solitary confinement, has never been charged, and continues to face serious health issues. TRT World’s Kristina Simich reports.
