For US cattle ranchers, the return of the parasite means one thing above all else: more work, more cost, and no quick fix. We spoke with agricultural economist Professor Derrell Peel of Oklahoma State University about what it means for the industry, for consumers, and how long the fight to push back the deadly pest is likely to take.
