For football fans, the World Cup is a global celebration. But in Gaza, where Israel’s war has devastated communities and sports facilities alike, even watching the tournament can be a challenge. But Palestinians, determined to be part of the spectacle, have organised a symbolic World Cup match of their own to keep the spirit of the game alive, and send a message of hope.
