Civilians are making their way back to southern Lebanon, where more than 3,500 people have been killed and entire communities reduced to rubble by Israel’s assault on Hezbollah positions.
Hezbollah’s spokesman declared the group has emerged "triumphant and emboldened," while Israel insists it will maintain its buffer zone in Lebanon for as long as necessary.
