Burnham’s by-election win boosts his leadership ambitions for UK Labour Party

Andy Burnham won the Makerfield by-election by 9,000 votes over Reform UK, becoming an MP and fueling speculation about a possible Labour leadership challenge to Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
