Germany’s Left Party is hoping that a new leadership team can propel them to win power in upcoming elections. At a party conference this weekend, Luigi Pantisano is running to be co-leader saying he wants to stand up for workers and provide more affordable housing. With such promises he believes the party can replicate Zohran Mamdani’s success in New York.
