Türkiye’s Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) delivered nearly 1,000 humanitarian aid packages to earthquake survivors in Venezuela’s hardest-hit La Guaira state on June 30. Distributed in co-ordination with the Turkish Embassy in Caracas, the supplies are expected to support around 5,000 people with food and hygiene essentials. The aid comes after the twin earthquakes on June 24 that killed at least 1,943 people and left tens of thousands of buildings damaged or destroyed.
