At least one Palestinian man and an international activist were injured on July 3, as illegal Israeli settlers attacked residents of Khirbet Abu Falah who were protesting for access to their farmland. Witnesses said illegal settlers used pepper spray, stones and sticks in their assault. The attack comes amid rising land-seizure fears as Israel approved 13 new illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank, drawing Palestinian warnings that the move will deepen territorial fragmentation.
