How Americans feel about their nation – 250 years after independence | BBC News

This weekend has seen millions of Americans celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of their nation.

In Washington there were fireworks and a spectacular military fly-over, while in a speech from the National Mall, President Donald Trump said the American dream is back.

As the US reaches a momentous milestone, the BBC has been finding out how Americans feel about their nation and their President.
