As Nato leaders prepare to meet in Ankara this week, they are set to discuss growing warnings about security on the alliance’s eastern flank. It comes after a series of incidents culminating in a Russian drone hitting a Romanian apartment in May—the first time that has happened inside a Nato member country. Yet, defending its territory may be far more difficult than the alliance is currently able to manage. TRT World’s Joel Flynn reports from the Romania-Ukraine border.
